Convincing his wife, Kim to attend a franchise show in Dallas was Carl Watson's first major sales challenge. The aisles were filled with a number of available franchises, from travel agencies to maid services. After coming across two empty chairs at a presentation, they decided to hear what the speakers had to say. That same evening, the couple decided to join and become the eighth Proforma franchise.

With a genuine love of meeting people, Carl and Kim had a knack for unearthing customers' passions and challenges. By providing value-added services, they developed relationships with high-profile clients such as Neiman Marcus, Johnson and Johnson, American Airlines, LSG Skychefs and Kaiser Permanente.

From Carl's ability to create results-driven marketing strategies to Kim's talent for improving operational systems, this team became one of the top-producers in the Proforma network. Early in their career, Proforma Watsonrise was recognized two times by INC Magazine as one of the "INC 500 Fastest Growing Privately-Held Companies in America" and named an honorary “Founder” of Proforma for their many contributions.

After living in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for many years, Carl and Kim made the life-changing decision to sell their accounts and to move to north Texas, to be closer to family and enjoy “small-town” living! But the Watson’s creative juices and their passion for helping businesses continues to flow.
